About

Jan grew up on the west coast of Norway between steep mountains and deep fjords on an island called Ellingsøy, outside of Aalesund city. Through his travels and work around the world, he discovered his passion for photography, with a particular interest in capturing wildlife and breathtaking nature sceneries.

The aim of his fine art photography is to showcase the majesty and fragility of the natural world, using his artwork as a platform to promote the importance of conservation and rewilding of threatened animal species.

His artwork have been hung on walls in homes, offices, and hotels, been published in online and print magazines, won competitions, and are gracing the covers of several music albums.

Through his lens, Jan hopes to inspire a greater appreciation for the wild and encourage others to take action to protect it.
